CD and IRA

Bank of Houston offers competitive rates on Certificates of Deposit (CD) and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).

  • $1,000.00 minimum deposit to open account
  • Interest is compounded monthly
  • Interest may be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually or at maturity
  • Penalty for early withdrawal

Certificate of Deposit terms range from 30 days to 60 months. You may only make deposits into CD accounts at maturity or during the 10-day grace period.

IRA Certificates of Deposit terms are either 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, 36 months, 48 months or 60 months. You may make deposits into your IRA account at any time during the term, provided the amount does not exceed limits established by law.
